Maru, My dear friend from high school, has this cool chair biz that I’ve been dying to blog about.

Back in high school Maru was our Queen B.


We (her minions) used to hide in the trunk of her car to get past the school guards. 

She being the only one with a school sticker. 

(parang dead body lang) 

Oh, and to the people we used to call names, for the record, Maru says sorry. It wasn’t us.

After highshcool, Maru and I went to design school together (now terrorizing teachers). We took up Interior Design in PSID.

Today we no longer get sent to the principal’s office.

I took to shoes and she took to furniture design.

Remember the Tiffany banquet chairs of early 2000?

Maru was the creative genius behind that. It was soooo successful, that you will see fake Tiffany chairs ALL OVER. Swear!

Now meet her Windsor chairs.


They were designed to capture light..

and sparkle like a diamond!






GORGE!!!


I loved them so much I begged her for 2 for my office!

Figured instead of a Ghost Chair, why not get something created by a friend.
